Why should I hire you as my trainer when I can just watch a you tube video and train myself? I get asked this question a lot.  Most of the time people assume trainers will help them lose weight or gain muscle but it’s really so much more that goes into designing an individualized workout program.

First of all, the best place to start may simply be identifying what you want out of your workouts? D you want to lose weight or gain muscle or is that even a smart goal for you at all. One of the jobs of a trainer is to help clients clearly define their goal and develop a plan to reach it. Secondly, how knowledgeable are you about working out? Perhaps you have worked out for years and are reasonably knowledgeable on the subject. Or are you the weekend warrior type who works out 1 weekend a month and forgets about it until your next tour of duty comes around in about a month. Or never worked out at all. Personal trainers are trained on many different types of exercise modalities and should use all the tools at their disposal to help you reach your goal. This also means they can help people with all types of goals they may want to reach, improving health, general fitness, or enhance sports performance. Personal Trainers are more than just to help you lose weight.

Third, how well do you know your body? What I mean by this is do you know your strengths and weaknesses? A skilled fitness professional can help you figure out which muscles need to be stretched or strengthened and knowing this information is an important factor in injury reduction.  A personal trainer will use specific static and dynamic postural assessments to develop the best flexibility/mobility program for you.

Fourth, how much time to do you have to work out? Personal trainers can help you maximize results while conserving time in the gym. This is accomplished by helping you work harder and smarter. Exercise modalities like circuit training, and HIIT are designed to do burn an insane number of calories in a short amount of time. Lastly, wouldn’t you like to feel better about your health and fitness status sooner rather than later. A personal trainer can skillfully design a program that will help you reach your goal faster by using all the tools at his disposal to design the most efficient program possible.

Everyone on your team must complete
their initial weigh in at Success Fitness

Between January 2 – 12, you’ll be required to attend weigh-ins every 2 weeks to quality for the Grand Prize. Final weigh-ins will occur between March 31 and April 5. The winning team will be announced at the New Year, New You Finale Party on Thursday, April 14th.  We’ll celebrate everyone’s success and write five $1,000 checks just in time for tax season!
We need at least ten teams to register by January 10th, 2025, to run this competition. So gather your friends and family members ready to start the New Year with a New Body and register today!
